Please read these our booking Terms and Conditions below as they are important and govern what is expected of you, and us.
We strongly advise you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs and your stay in the Property. If you choose not to then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur.

All bookings made through Moor Rooms shall be subject to the following:
1. Confirmation, Deposits and Payments Provisional bookings will be held for fourteen days. To secure a provisional booking, we must receive a written confirmation and the balance payment in full. The balance of any optional extras is to be settled one month prior to the booking date. Moor Rooms Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on late payments at a daily rate of 0.5% above the base rate.
2. Clients use of Moor Rooms Ltd properties
All guests attending shall;
a) Comply with all licensing, Health and Safety and other regulations relating to Moor Rooms.
b) Not act in an improper or disorderly manner, leave promptly at the appropriate time
c) Children are welcome, however, Moor Rooms properties are set in large grounds with uneven ground and deep water. We ask that parents are responsible for ensuring that children are supervised at all times. We cannot accept any liability in the event of an accident.
d) Cars parked are entirely at the owner’s risk. No responsibility can be accepted for loss of property or damage to vehicles whilst on site.
e) Dogs are only allowed on site with prior arrangement and they will be charged at £60.00 per stay. Dogs will be requested to stay in kitchen and utility areas only.
3. Cancellation by the Client
In all circumstances, notification of cancellation must be made in writing and will be effective on the date this notification is received by Moor Rooms. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that this notification is received.
The following cancellation terms apply:
a) Cancellation over three months in advance – 50% of the balance will be returned and the remaining 50% will be forfeited unless a booking is obtained for the same dates from a third party on no less favourable terms.
b) Cancellation less than three but more than one month in advance – All funds will be forfeited unless a booking is obtained for the same dates from a third party on no less favourable terms.
c) Cancellation between one months and the booking date – the total cost will be incurred.
4. Insurance / Damage
Moor Rooms Ltd recommends that all clients take out their own third party holiday insurance policy. The client shall be responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings, utensils and equipment therein by an act, default or neglect of the client. Moor Rooms Ltd will have to submit a damage claim within 14 days of checkout to the client. The client shall pay Moor Rooms Ltd the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
Signage/ Adhesives: - All signage must be agreed by Moor Rooms Ltd. Signs should be free-standing but must not obstruct the corridors or fire exits.
No signage should be placed on the walls, doors or mirrors without prior agreement with Moor Rooms Ltd. Any damage caused by unauthorised Signs or by Blue Tak/pins etc will be charged to the client.
Personal property/storage:- Moor Rooms Ltd does not take responsibility for the property of clients or their guests. Moor Rooms Ltd will endeavour to assist clients with storage of equipment etc., but it excludes liability for theft loss or damage to any such item of equipment.
5. General
a) Moor Rooms Ltd will take all reasonable steps to fulfil the reservation to the best of its ability and in accordance with the details provided. However, it reserves the right to provide alternative services of at least equivalent standard at no additional cost.
b) Whilst Moor Rooms Ltd has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the information contained in its advertising is accurate, it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility or amenity without prior notice if necessary.
c) Moor Rooms Ltd will not be liable for any failure to provide the services contracted in the following circumstances:
• Industrial action by employees
• Industrial action by employees of a major supplier
• Fire, lightening, aircraft impact, explosion, riot and civil commotion, malicious damage, storm, tempest, flood, burst pipes, earthquakes and impact, terrorism, pandemic.
• Postal bookings which do not reach us.
• Breakdown of plant or any failure to supply to site of gas, electricity, water or other services.
• Any other circumstances beyond reasonable control of Moor Rooms Ltd.
8. Contract
By paying the balance for your stay, you are hereby agreeing to the terms and conditions above.
